"Absolutely exquisite... modern soul-funk, a bit folky, a bit celtic, with phenomenal voices, harmonies and dry humour!" – Sunshine Coast Ukelele Festival

Featuring the incredibly versatile vocals and songs of award-winning songstress Elly Hoyt, playing guitar and ukelele; My Nightingale explore the natural world and the themes that run through life's experience. Elly is joined by Rebecca Karlen on violin, Beck Flatt on drums and Helen Svoboda on double bass.

With diverse musical backgrounds and stories, these talented musicians and singers bring to the stage soul soothing tunes with luscious vocal harmonies, layers of beautiful strings and groovy folk rhythms.

KIERAN T STEVENSON Taking stock of his musical loves a few years ago, Brisbane vocalist and songwriter Kieran T. Stevenson, let a mix of old and new favourites rise to the surface, ultimately finding solace in the hearty snares and synth foundations of 80s pop gems. He takes influence from artists such as Jonsi, Kate Miller-Heidke, Haim, Ben Folds and Sigur Ros, as well as a bounty of 80s favourites.

“Stevenson’s assured vocal performance shows impressive ability and restraint, his sustained falsetto the musical equivalent to fairy floss: sweet, soft, and weightless.” – AAA Backstage

HANNAH ROSA Soulful. Dynamic. Dreamy. Hannah Rosa is an artist who will capture your heart and command your attention. Armed with velvety vocals and brutally honest lyrics, the Brisbane singer-songwriter is developing a reputation for delivering goosebump-worthy performances well beyond her years.

Singing songs of bittersweet endings, joyful triumphs and all the mess in between, Hannah blends jazz melodies, alternative folk storytelling and a good dose of RnB swagger to create a truly unique musical palette.
